An incredible 424 students received on site college acceptance, with many celebrating their very first acceptance! Tougaloo college was at FAC and STEM to celebrate this milestone. This is the start of a bright future ahead!

Girls from both campuses of RTHS attended an advocacy-focused conference on Saturday, hosted by the 100 Black Women Chicago Metropolitan Chapter at Kennedy-King College. The event provided an empowering platform for young women to engage in discussions, develop leadership skills.

Today in chemistry class, sophomores had a blast learning science in a delicious way by making dry ice ice cream. Using milk, creamer, sugar and vanilla they mixed over dry ice which quickly froze the ingredients into creamy ice cream. A great hands on lesson, and a tasty treat!

Students in the C-CAP program recently had a hands-on experience making homemade Cinnamon Toast Crunch, learning the art of crafting this beloved snack from scratch. As they mixed, baked, and tasted their creations, they also discussed exciting career paths.
