Students from RTHS visited Prairie State College for an HBCU Fair and campus tour, where they explored various HBCU's. The day included a delicious lunch, an insightful alumni presentation, providing students with valuable information and inspiration for their academic futures.

Please enjoy the long weekend and take this time to rest, recharge, and spend time with loved ones! Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 18th.  Athletic/Activity Accomplishments Rich Township High School continues to shine in athletics and activities!   Congratulations to our Girls Bowling team for qualifying for the IHSA Sectional Tournament! Your hard work and dedication have paid off, and we’re all cheering you on as you continue to represent Rich Township with pride. Great job, team!  Congratulations to Kamren Colquitt for advancing to Sectionals in Extemporaneous Speaking at the IHSA Regional Tournament. A huge thank you to Coaches Lopez and Seyfried and the entire Speech Team for their dedication this season.   In wrestling, Tristan King secured 3rd place at the 3A Regional, earning a spot at Sectionals, while Jadin Billingsley finished 4th as a sectional alternate.  Our Mighty Marching Machine showcased their talents in the Chinese New Year Parade, bringing energy and pride to the celebration.   Additionally, our RTHS culinary students put their skills to the test at the 2025 C-CAP competition at Washburne Culinary School. Great job, Raptors! Black History Spirit Week The African American Culture Club invites everyone to celebrate Black History Spirit Week 2025, February 24–28! Each day features a unique theme: Monday kicks off with Pan-African Pride (red, black, and green), Tuesday highlights Black Power, Wednesday celebrates Black Music Legends, Thursday honors Black Women in History, and Friday concludes with an all-black attire Black Out. Join us in honoring Black culture and history through fun and meaningful activities all week long!  Upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences, Parent University, & Report Card Pick Up Save the date! On Thursday, March 20th, we will host Parent University, Report Card Pick-Up, and Parent-Teacher Conferences.
