On Nov. 6, 2024, the Rich Township HS District 227 School Food Pantry was presented with a second monetary donation from DOT Foods in University Park in the amount of $5000 in their continuing support. This donation comes exactly 1 year after DOT Foods initial donation.


Business Professionals of America (BPA) members volunteered at the 41st Annual Special Olympics Motor Activity Training Program held at Moraine Valley Community College.






Students from the classroom had the unique opportunity to dive into the world of trades through an in-house field trip! Highlighting a multitude of questions prompting us to organize an engaging presentation with Pepper Construction Group, UJAMAA Construction,and STR Partners LLC

The Pack Team achieved a standout victory at the PACK EXPO at McCormick Place, winning both the Marketing and Sales categories, earning $2,500 in prize money. Their impressive performance caught the attention of multiple companies, leading to several job offers for our students.

This week the Raptors are at the PACK EXPO International at McCormick Place,they will be showcasing their final design, on the packaging and processing industry. They are 1 of 6 high school finalists.The winning team will showcase their design next year at PACK EXPO Las Vegas!






On Fri, Nov. 1, Rich Township members of BPA attended the 2024 IL BPA Fall Leadership Conference in Oak Brook. Over 220 IL members were present and participated in leadership activities, listened to guest speakers and participated in the special project for the Salvation Army.

This Halloween,the Raptors had a spooktacular celebration! At lunchtime, they indulged in a variety of tasty treats. Our little Raptors paraded in their favorite costumes. As the day went on, excitement built for the 8th-period celebration, where dancing and games were played.

RTHS broadcast and make up club visited a movie production set offering a fascinating glimpse behind the scenes of filmmaking. From set design and cinematography to sound and direction, this immersive experience reveals the artistry and hard work that goes into each scene.

Today at lunch, Dunkin’ Donuts surprised students by giving away free samples and $5 gift cards! It was a sweet treat that added extra excitement to the lunch hour, and students loved the delicious flavors. Even the little Raptors got treats! Thank you, Dunkin!
