On October 29, 2022, three current students and one graduate were involved in a car accident, resulting in two fatalities. As a community, we are STRONGER TOGETHER! The families are in need of support and as a community, we are asking the community to give a donation that will be presented to the families and will go to offset the cost of the two funerals. This is a reminder that this Wednesday, November 2, 2022, is a Late Start Wednesday and NOT an early dismissal. All students should follow their normal Late Start Wednesday schedules and all bus routes will follow the same schedule as all other Late Start Wednesdays.

At tonight's board meeting, the Rich Township High School Board of Education approved the recommendation for face masks to be optional in all district buildings. Starting Thursday, October 27th, individuals have the choice to wear a face mask while in the buildings. While masks are optional, the district recommends masks be worn. Greetings Raptor Fans: We want to share the following information regarding our game day protocols as we plan to host Thornridge High School on Friday, October 14th, starting at 6:30 PM. The gates will open at 5:00 PM. Please use the following link for our parking lot procedures Please click here for that plan. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c1mWarERGyQhU9CsM2Lu-pzFDD3U4AI4/view?usp=sharing Points of Interest for parking: We will have one entry point (adjacent to Arquilla Drive) and one exit point (adjacent to the Dollar General). There will be security, along with additional assistance from traffic control, used to maintain the parking lot at the Fine Arts and Communication campus. The parking lot will be closed at the start of the 3rd quarter. At the conclusion of the event, any families who have parked in the main (West) lot, East lot, or the church lot, will be directed to ONLY TURN RIGHT OUT OF THE LOT, with the flow of traffic. Any parents who are picking up students from the game must enter through the east entrance and park along the east and south side of the building. Entry to the stadium: We will have several checkpoints along the pathway leading up to the field where ID's and essential bags will be checked. There will be no bookbags or drawstring bags allowed in the stadium. Everyone attending the game must present an ID in order to enter. Anyone 21 years old or older must have a state Driver's License or State ID. For any recent Rich Township graduates who have not reached the age of 21, please use the following link to indicate if you are planning on attending the game. Thornridge students must have their student ID card and be accompanied by a parent/guardian to enter the game. Ticket sales will be concluded at the start of the 3rd quarter. We are asking spectators arrive to at the game early! There is a Good Night Policy. Once you leave the stadium gates you will not be allowed to re-enter. All guests who are denied entry must immediately leave the school property or they will be considered trespassing. At the conclusion of the game, all guests are asked to promptly leave the stadium.
