Click here for the Weekly Update Video  Homecoming Reminders: All-School Assembly and Tailgate: Friday, September 20th During the school day, we are hosting a spirited assembly and tailgate party for RTHS only, setting the stage for the evening's football game.  Homecoming Football Game: Friday, September 20th, 6:00 PM Our Raptors will take the field at the FAC stadium against the Thornton Wildcats. Familiarize yourself with our game protocols.  •	A physical ID is required for entry. •	Only students from Rich Township and the visiting school are permitted to enter. Visiting school students must be accompanied by an adult.  •	No bags will be allowed into the stadium, and we will not have a bag check available. •	All tickets must be purchased in advance through GoFan and redeemed at the ticket gate by a Rich Township staff member.  Click here for the full home game protocols  Homecoming Dance: Saturday, September 21st, 7:00 PM The dance will be held at the STEM campus. Tickets are available online starting today. Ensure your student meets the Raptor Ready requirements to attend.  PSAT-NMSQT Opportunity for Sophomores and Juniors Rich Township High School will offer the PSAT-NMSQT to interested 10th and 11th graders on Thursday, October 24, 2024. This is a one-time opportunity with no make-up available. Juniors who take this assessment and meet program entry requirements will be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for scholarships and recognition. Additionally, students will be able to: •	Track progress from previous assessments (PSAT 8/9 or PSAT 10). •	Receive personalized AP course recommendations. •	Access customized career and college planning resources through Big Future.  Registration Deadline: Interested students must sign up by September 27, 2024 to participate. Sign-up link: PSAT-NMSQT Registration Students will receive more details after registration is complete.  Quarterly Academic Approach Assessment (Grades 9-11) On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, students in Grades 9-11 will participate in a digital Academic Approach assessment lasting approximately one hour. This will mimic a shortened ACT and help teachers provide targeted support and adjust instruction. •	Late Start: Testing begins at 9:25 AM, and the school day concludes at 3:20 PM. •	Students must bring a charged Chromebook. •	Seniors will have dedicated senior sessions during this time.  Pre ACT and Pre ACT 8/9 (Grades 9-11) On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, students in Grades 9-11 will take the Digital Fall Pre ACT. This three-hour assessment provides valuable insights on predicted ACT scores and identifies areas for improvement before the spring 2025 ACT. •	Late Start: Testing begins at 9:25 AM, with the school day concluding at 3:20 PM. •	There will be no make-up for this assessment. •	Students must bring a charged Chromebook. The only bags permitted into the stadium are clear bags, or bags that are less than 4 ½“ x 6 ½”. You will be directed to either return your bag to your car.  Everyone attending the game must present an ID in order to enter. Anyone 21 years old or older must have a state Driver's License or State ID.  No students from another school, besides Rich Township and the visiting school, will be allowed to enter the game. Rich Township students must have their physical ID with them and scanned. You will not be able to enter by ID number alone. Visiting school students must have their student ID card and be accompanied by a parent/guardian to enter the game.  No one will be allowed to enter the game after halftime.  There is a Good Night Policy. Once you leave the stadium gates you will not be allowed to re-enter. All guests who are denied entry must immediately leave the school property or they will be considered trespassing.

In a nail-biting day, the Lady Raptor Basketball team, lost their games in the fall league. Game 1 ended with a heart-wrenching 1-point deficit, and Game 2 was even closer, slipping away by just 2 points. Despite the tough losses, the team showed resilience and determination.
