The Rich Township Marching Band, M3, under the direction of Phil Crews has had a productive Fall season this year, winning the Chicago Classic Battle of Bands and, just recently taking numerous titles at the 2022 Oblong Spooktacular Band Festival.
On October 1, 2022, the marching band competed at the annual Chicago Classic at Soldiers Field. They competed against 7 other schools and in the end were named baddest band in the land, taking home first place.
On October 29, 2022, the Mighty Marching Machine boarded a bus and took off to Oblong to compete in their annual Spooktacular Band Festival. M3 competed against 11 other schools and had a clean sweep in the competition taking home the following awards, as well as being named the Grand Champions of the event, led by our three Drum Majors, Rebecca Perry, Madison White, Danielle Williams (pictured).
