Rich Township High School District 227 is proud to recognize LaTricia Varnado on her appointment as Co-Principal of Rich Township High School.
Varnado’s connection to Rich Township runs deep. A former Rich Township student, she is now beginning her 20th year serving the district. Over the course of her career, she has served as a teacher, academy leader, and school administrator, building strong relationships and a deep understanding of the students, staff, families, and community she now helps lead.
Her journey from student to educator to Co-Principal reflects a longstanding commitment to Rich Township and to creating meaningful opportunities for students to succeed.
Varnado’s leadership is grounded in relationships, collaboration, accountability, and high expectations. She believes students are most successful when they feel known, valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.
“Rich Township has been part of my story since I was a student, and it has been an honor to spend my career serving the same community that helped shape me. As Co-Principal, I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships, support our students and staff, and ensure every student feels valued, challenged, and prepared for what comes next.”
— LaTricia Varnado, Co-Principal

Please join us in congratulating Co-Principal LaTricia Varnado on her appointment and continued service to Rich Township High School.
