The mission of the Freshmen and Sophomore Academy is to ensure that every student has the strong academic skills and knowledge, habits of mind, social-emotional and physical well-being to prepare them for advanced coursework in their chosen career pathway.

As a well-built foundation makes a building strong, freshmen and sophomore year provide students with the foundation they need to pursue their goals and dreams.

At the conclusion of their Sophomore year, students will work with the teachers, administrators, and counselors to identify an academy and pathway they wish to pursue for the remainder of their high school career in District 227.
