Congratulations to our Rich East Rockets

 Conference Champions of the Scholastic Bowl!!!

The Rich East Rocket’s JV AND Varsity Scholastic Bowl teams captured the 1st Place and Championship title during Tuesday’s Conference tournament.

 

The JV squad won every match, and has won every match this season! The JV team had a perfect record  of 12-0. Dr. Epstein finished her run as JV Scholastic Bowl coach with her best season ever. “Thank you for your great leadership and wisdom, Dr. Epstein,” said Sean Coughlin, of Rich East. The JV team was led by Matt Wagener, Alan Mitchell, Charles Pickett, Kyle Lowenstein and Aiyana Godsil. “These students ensure our success in the years to come.”

The Varsity team has won championships before and welcomes their most recent victory! Captain Riddhi Kansara, Katrina Halfaker and Dave McDowell each earned medals for correctly answering the most toss-ups in a conference. The team also had contributions from Angela Crawford, Mike Williams, Jasmine Noble, Milan Massey Halley, Isabel Baeza and Trey Newbern.
