Rich East senior Marc Mitchell Jr. is an entrepreneur who recently
published his very first book, titled "Missing Pieces". Based on a true
story, the novel follows the journey of a high school student-athlete
and the trials and tribulations that he faces.
Inspired by his mother to pursue this project, Marc wants to motivate
readers to become independent, self-sufficient individuals.
"I've been an entrepreneur since I was an
8-year-old selling chocolates," Marc said. "It's not as hard to make
money as people think."
Marc credits his mother with teaching him
important lessons on financial literacy, generational wealth, and
diversifying his streams of income. He looks to share these lessons with
his peers and community.
"This is not just a book to read," Marc said. "It's a book to influence our youth!"
Marc will likely major in Business Administration at Eastern Illinois University next fall.
"Missing Pieces" is now available for download/purchase on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and AuthorHouse.
Join us in congratulating Mr. Mitchell Jr. for this excellent accomplishment!
