Rich Central New Principal for the 2019-20 School Year!

Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members:

We are pleased to announce that Rich Central will have a new principal starting in the 2019-20 school year!

Dr. LeViis Haney has 18 years of experience in education, including 15 years as a school leader. He started his career as a classroom teacher and coach at the middle and high school levels. Dr. Haney would go on to serve as an athletic director, elementary school assistant principal and K-8 principal. He most recently served as principal at The Joseph Sears School in Kenilworth, Illinois.

Additionally, Dr. Haney is an adjunct professor for the principal preparation internship class at Chicago‚Äôs Northeastern Illinois University. In that capacity, he draws on his experience to help new principals ready themselves for the challenges of leading a school community.

Dr. Haney is an outstanding educator and administrator who is a great fit to lead Rich Central. His focus will be on expanding opportunities for students and maintaining an educational environment in which children feel safe and valued. Dr. Haney is also a visible leader who has demonstrated an ability to truly connect with students, parents, staff and community members.
