Rich East Student's Visits the Chicago Federal Reserve Museum and Ariel Investments
On Tuesday, March 20th, 12 students from Mr. Archbold's Accounting class visited the Chicago Federal Reserve Museum. While there, students learned about the Federal Reserve and how they make sure all electronic fund payments are handled. They also were able to gain some insight on how the Federal Reserve ensure our economy is running smoothly. The second stop was to Ariel Investments. Ariel Investment is one of the largest black-owned investment firms in the US. Students were able to tour their offices and meet with some of their executives. The students were also able to sit and talk with the John Rogers Jr, the CEO of Ariel Investments discussing how he started his business and what it takes to be successful.
