The "Eyes" Have It
The students in Mrs. Lundgren’s AP Psychology class were discovering the unique connection between the eyes, brain, and perception of humans. In this hands-on experiment, students used goggles that simulated vision changes from an upside-down inversion and a left or right 30-degree angle. They found a degree of difficulty in just drawing a simple stick figure, moving beads from one compartment to another, or playing an underhand game of catch. At the end of the class, a new understanding was gained by all who participated in how perception adaptation and sensation.
