Three C’s for Preventing the Spread of the Flu
As recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, and the Cook County Department of Public Health, please take note of the following steps to help reduce the spread of the flu virus including the H1N1 virus:
1) CLEAN your hands frequently to reduce the spread of germs.
2) COVER your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your sleeve, NOT your hand.
3) CONTAIN your germs by staying at home if you’re sick.

Superintendent Search
On August 6, 2009, the Board of Education accepted Superintendent Hunigan's retirement request, effective June 30, 2010. After consideration of various search firms, on September 15, 2009, the Board hired the Illinois Association of School Boards to conduct the Superintendent Search. Community Forums were recently held during the month of October at each campus to identifiy the skills and traits desired in the next Superintendent. For a complete timeline, please click here.
