2.16.16 Board of Education Meeting Update
The Board of Education Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 16 at 6:30 p.m. will be held in the at Rich South High Auditorium, 5000 Sauk Trail in Richton Park, IL. 
Parent Teacher Conferences Feb 11 & 12
Save the Date for Parent Teacher Conferences.  Conferences will be held: Feb 11th 5:30-8 p.m and Feb 12th 9 am to 12 pm.  Students will not be in school on Feb. 12th.  
Rich East Pretty Prom Dresses Next Dress Selection Date is March 5th (Media Center)
This unique program assists young ladies that want to attend prom, but may not be able to afford the expenses  such as purchasing tickets, dresses, shoes, and accessories. Click here to see the video link 
Live, Love, Snowball March 17, 18, 19, & 20, 2016
For all RICH TOWNSHIP DISTRICT 227 students who have never attended Snowball. Operation Snowball is:
  • a weekend retreat for students, parents and staff of the school district.
  • a program focusing on prevention through education and emotional growth by promoting personal and social development.
  • a leadership program emphasizing teens helping teens.

Parent University Meeting 2.27.16
District 227 understands that parent-school partnerships are essential in preparing our children to become knowledgable, responsible, caring adults. 
FREE ACT Test for District 227 Students
n prior years, the State of Illinois has paid for all 3rd year students' ACT/PSAE Entrance Exams. Due to budget concerns, Illinois will not cover the cost of the test for the 2015-2016 school year.

To ensure that students are prepared for college and career success, District 227 will pay for third year students to take the ACT.

Just like it has been on most nights, Rich East had a lot of contributors in Monday night's 57-47 victory over Seton in the semifinals of the Hillcrest Holiday Classic.

But when it was crunch time, when it was time to take control of the situation, there was one player that Rockets coach Jonnie Bass wanted at the point with the ball.
