Pancakes with Santa - Dec. 6th
Pancakes with Santa is a holiday favorite with activities for the entire family.  The event will be hosted in the Rich South Cafeteria on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
Culture & Climate Summit December 10th
Dr. Carole Collins Ayanlaja, Superintendent of Rich High School District 227 will be speaking to East students about culture and climate around the school on December 10, 2014. 
Shoot for Skies Video Contest Deadline December 10, 2014
On October 6, 2014, Illinois Partners for Clean Air launched the Shoot for the Skies PSA Video Contest for Chicago area high school students in the Illinois counties of Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will. 
Best Buddies Match up Party
Best Buddies held their match up party in the West Cafeteria on Thursday, October 30.  Happy students celebrated by playing bingo.  
Majority of the POMS achieved a 3.0 G.P.A.
Congratulations to the Rich East Poms Squad with 19 out of 24 members with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher with the highest being 3.8. 
Rich East Alumnus Tonishea Mack named Governors State University Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
Tonishea Mack, affectionately known as T-Mack, is a proud member of the Rich East alumnus family. Under the leadership of Girl’s Head Coach Jonnie Bass, Mack embraced leadership both academically and athletically.

Each pathway leads to industry certification. A Career Pathway is a series of connected education and training programs and student support services that enable individuals to secure a job or advance in a demand industry or occupation. Career Pathways focus on easing and facilitating student transition from high school to community college; from pre-college courses to credit post secondary programs and from community college to university or employment.
