Fun with poetry
Ms. Christiansen's History, Thought, and Western Man students work on a project for the Illiad Book 1.

The Rich East students are studying poetry and summarizing the passage to identify themes (war/peace, honor/duty, compassion, life/death), noting any foreshadowing, allusions, and any figures of speech, and what inferences can be concluded from the passage.

Group work promotes idea-sharing, leadership, and team work.
