Community Curriculum Conversations Feb. 3rd
The Community Curriculum Conversations are an interactive workshop for parents. This evening will engage parents with a more in-depth understanding about Common Core, new Illinois learning standards, culturally relevant curriculum, and much more. We invite the entire family to attend. 
Parent Teacher Conferences Feb 12 & 13
Save the Date for Parent Teacher Conferences.  Conferences will be held: Feb 12th 5:30-8 p.m and Feb 13th 9 am to 12 pm.  Students will not be in school on Feb. 13th.  
Superintendent Ayanlaja Hosts East Staff Talks Feb. 19th
Superintendent Carole Collins Ayanlaja is hosting "Can We Talk For Real 2'' at each District227 campus. She will be at Rich East on February 19th in Room 214.

Rich East Scholastic Bowl Champs!
The Rockets completed their first undefeated championship (11-0) season in dramatic fashion at Bloom Trail Wednesday.  
Rich East BPA Scores High in Competition
Picking up where they left off last year, the Rich East High School Business Professionals of America scored high at last week's PBA sectional competition meet.  
Majority of the POMS achieved a 3.0 G.P.A.
Congratulations to the Rich East Poms Squad with 19 out of 24 members with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher with the highest being 3.8. 
Rich East Alumnus Tonishea Mack named Governors State University Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
Tonishea Mack, affectionately known as T-Mack, is a proud member of the Rich East alumnus family. Under the leadership of Girl’s Head Coach Jonnie Bass, Mack embraced leadership both academically and athletically.  
Rich Township High Schools now offers NEW Career Pathways

Each pathway leads to industry certification. A Career Pathway is a series of connected education and training programs and student support services that enable individuals to secure a job or advance in a demand industry or occupation. Career Pathways focus on easing and facilitating student transition from high school to community college; from pre-college courses to credit post secondary programs and from community college to university or employment.
