Rich East POMS place 5 out of 55
On this past Saturday, December 6th,Rich Each Rockette Poms  Squad competed within the Eisenhower Dance Invitational. Our girls competed against 55 other schools.  Our girls placed 5th within their division.  
Rich East BPA on Their Way to the Top Again!
On Wednesday, December 3rd and Friday, December 5th 26 students from Rich East competed in the Area competition for Business Professionals of America. They compete in different events testing their knowledge and skills in four areas; administrative support, financial services, information technology, and management/human resource. Out of the 26 that competed 14 qualified for the State competition being held on February 26th - March 1st at The Double Tree hotel in Oakbrook, IL.  
Best Buddies Match up Party
Best Buddies held their match up party in the West Cafeteria on Thursday, October 30.  Happy students celebrated by playing bingo.  
Majority of the POMS achieved a 3.0 G.P.A.
Congratulations to the Rich East Poms Squad with 19 out of 24 members with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher with the highest being 3.8. 
Rich East Alumnus Tonishea Mack named Governors State University Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
Tonishea Mack, affectionately known as T-Mack, is a proud member of the Rich East alumnus family. Under the leadership of Girl’s Head Coach Jonnie Bass, Mack embraced leadership both academically and athletically.

Congratulations to Rich East pitcher, 1st base & 3rd base player Calya Brown on being invited to participate in the 2014 Rising Stars Exposure Academic Workout.  
Rich Township High Schools now offers NEW Career Pathways

Each pathway leads to industry certification. A Career Pathway is a series of connected education and training programs and student support services that enable individuals to secure a job or advance in a demand industry or occupation. Career Pathways focus on easing and facilitating student transition from high school to community college; from pre-college courses to credit post secondary programs and from community college to university or employment.
