School Security

Mission: To provide a safe environment that supports and enables an environment for student learning, growth and development. The police liaison officers will mentor students and counsel them about their interaction with police officers that they may encounter now and throughout their lifetime. Police liaison officers utilize the Rich Township High School’s Handbook as their guideline for safety in schools.

Vision: The District Police Liaison works in partnership with Rich Township High Schools to ensure a safe atmosphere, conducive to the growth and development of our student body.  

Values: The police liaison officers are updated with school climate information on a daily basis to make adjustments to the needs of each school campus. The police liaison officers are mentors who believe that mentoring students is the key to promoting a safe school climate. The police liaison officers meet with law enforcement agencies and are in partnership with community groups to support the community effort in providing a high quality education for Rich Township High School students.
