Welcome to the District 227 Food Service Department.
Mission: To provide all District 227 students and staff with nutritious, high quality meals of excellent appearance, along with friendly customer service.
Vision: To equip students, parents or guardians, teachers and staff, as well as other community members with the necessary information regarding health and nutrition in order to make the best offerings available in our district. About Us: The Food Service Department employs over 50 well trained staff members all working together to serve over 600 breakfasts and 2,800 lunches each day. Free and reduced price meals are provided for qualifying students under the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs.
