Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) - 2007

The Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) is a requirement of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) legislation. AYP measures student performance in reading and math, graduation, and PSAE test participation. Annually, the state predetermines a performance level for reading and math that districts must meet and/or exceed.
